Blurb: The standing draped figure represents the religious side of Italy- drawn from my San Miniato graveyard visits. The leaping figure represents the mythical and natural side of Italy, its inherent beauty in all things growing.
I owe Madsculptor
[link] so much for his tutorials on armatures and tips on baking for the success of this piece. It helped so very much~
made with super sculpey grey and painted with india ink washes
I do believe my mind has blown. Brb, picking up the pieces.
The details! The anatomy! The poses! The...EVERYTHING! I have always loved your sculpting, but this one, I think, is by far your best. The addition of the little gem thingy is lovely. I think my favourite part has to be the roses though; just so darn lovely! And your drapery...I'm afraid it's just "too real" xP And I really like how you brought in two sides of Italy through this. ... ... Kinda reminds me of some statures in LotR actually xD
But seriously, you go girl, keep on improving in sculpting and SELL some of these babies o.o
...WHY ARE WE IN ANIMATION AGAIN????
(Psst, and did you get my reply to your email??)
